Grounded in contemporary and release techniques, Giselle Bain explores the intricacies of human experience through vivid movement.
Giselle Bain started her choreographic journey at the age of seven. Inspired by her mother’s commitment and courage to explore genres and ideas that are honest about life and human experiences, Giselle has been steadily crafting her own voice in the dance space.
Grounded in contemporary release, her exploration of life’s intricacies and mental health themes invites audiences to encounter the vividness of living through her eyes. She is a 2022 BFA graduate in Dance Performance and Choreography and received the Bert Rose award for Most Outstanding Performer.
She has performed with Praise Academy of Dance, Chazon Dance, DanceWorks, the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company, and CDT, and she now works as a freelance dancer, choreographer, and theatre technician with film, commercial, and theatrical projects in view.
