Grounded in contemporary and release techniques, Giselle explores the intricacies of human experiences and mental health issues through vivid movement.

Giselle Bain Finds Her Choreographic Voice in Life's Complexities

Giselle Bain started her choreographic journey at the age of 7. Inspired by her mom’s commitment and courage to explore genres and ideas that are honest about life and human experiences, Giselle has been steadily crafting her own voice in the dance space. Grounded in contemporary release, her exploration of the intricacies of life and mental health issues invites her audience to encounter the vividness of living through her eyes. Giselle is a 2022 graduate with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a recipient
of the prestigious Bert Rose award for Most Outstanding Performer. She has graced stages as a member of the Praise Academy of Dance, Chazon Dance, DanceWorks, the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company, and most recently as a company member of CDT. Giselle is currently a freelance dancer, choreographer and theatre technician who has worked on several film, commercial and theatrical projects. She currently has her eyes set on pursuing a Master’s in Choreography for Film and Theatre in the U.K.
